I have 4 hours before the theme is released, and what do I do? I go to bed! Without knowing what theme is on!! Without even sleeping on the subject!! And Why? Because where I am, the 4 hours left would mean stay up until 3am! And I’m tired, so… I’ll ruin some 7 hours of the 48..
So, for all of you who wants to participate. go to http://www.ludumdare.com/compo/

PongClone as the name indicate is a Pong Clone. I’ve made it under a week, but I’ve been tweaking it since then, and added a two player mode and tweaked artificial intelligence, and a new menu.
Instructions
Pong is just like tenis. You have to hit the ball and hope the other one misses.
How to Play
On One Player Mode:
Up Arrow to go Up.
Down Arrow to go Down.
On Two Player Mode
On qwerty keyboards.
Player One Up -> W
Player One Down -> S
Player two Up -> Up Arrow
Player two Down -> Down Arrow
Game Design, Code & Gfx: Michael Adaixo
Sound Effects created with DrPetter’s sfxr.
Blockies uses: SFML.

I am making myself a new tileset.
In photoshop, and I’m pretty much happy with the end result. I’ll have to make a way to use them in the coding part later…
Note: I’m still trying some game ideas…

Ok, I’m still thinking… of a game… but its hard.. what type of game, what type of graphics. so far I’ve only made puzzles… so… hard.. i guess.
I narrowed down the axioms to these, that I might actually make a game from.
No good deed goes unpunished.
You might win, or do something good, you still die at the end… lol… or something in that genre.
Quitters never win; winners never quit
Easy one. If you quit, you’ll never win so play my game ’til the end.
In the country of the blind, the one-eyed man is king.
If I have something more than you. I win. I’m better than you. Might be money, anything else. No matter how small the difference is.
A burnt child dreads the fire
Basically, this is just a normal game. If you’re smart enough to not make the same mistake ( lose ) twice than the axiom applies… xD else, you don’t anticipate fearfully the fire… xD

Ok, so here are the axioms I can chose to make the GJ game. I googled some
- A picture is worth a thousand words
A picture tells a story just as well as a large amount of descriptive text.
- Beauty is in the eye of the beholder
Different people have different ideas about what is beautiful.
- Even a broken clock is right twice a day
Success obtained through dumb luck
- Laughter is the best medicine
- No good deed goes unpunished
- Quitters never win; winners never quit
- Actions speak louder than words
- Where there’s smoke, there’s fire
if it looks like something is wrong, something probably is wrong
- In the country of the blind, the one-eyed man is king
A little wit, among foolish people, will pass a man for a great genius
- A burnt child dreads the fire
A person who has suffered from doing something has learned to avoid doing it again
Now for game ideas… still zero…

There is a new theme for this month over at Experimental Gameplay Project, and the theme is “Bare Minimum“. So for those who want to enter the zone of prototyping a game under 7 days. Make your “Bare Minimum” game and submit your game link in the post comments, and maybe you’ll be chosen and your game might appear in the “Best of the Net” post.
Good luck to everyone. I’ll be entering if I can.
