Well, the Experiemental Gameplay theme for september was Failure, and well, it was for me. I wasn’t able to come up with a game.
So “Bare Minimum” is over and there were some amazing submissions, my favorite one is definitely Canabalt. Be Sure to check them all out over at Experimental Game Play.
And for the next theme is Failure! Turn on your creativity machines and get in Indie Mode
I sure have an idea already for a game.

Ok, so I wasn’t able to come up with type of game. Didn’t knew what I could do. The thing is I’ve only done puzzles so far, and never did platformers or action games. So its kinda hard to start a new style without knowing previously how things work.

I have 4 hours before the theme is released, and what do I do? I go to bed! Without knowing what theme is on!! Without even sleeping on the subject!! And Why? Because where I am, the 4 hours left would mean stay up until 3am! And I’m tired, so… I’ll ruin some 7 hours of the 48..

PongClone as the name indicate is a Pong Clone. I’ve made it under a week, but I’ve been tweaking it since then, and added a two player mode and tweaked artificial intelligence, and a new menu.
Instructions
Pong is just like tenis. You have to hit the ball and hope the other one misses.
How to Play
On One Player Mode:
Up Arrow to go Up.
Down Arrow to go Down.
On Two Player Mode
On qwerty keyboards.
Player One Up -> W
Player One Down -> S
Player two Up -> Up Arrow
Player two Down -> Down Arrow

I am making myself a new tileset.
In photoshop, and I’m pretty much happy with the end result. I’ll have to make a way to use them in the coding part later…

Ok, I’m still thinking… of a game… but its hard.. what type of game, what type of graphics. so far I’ve only made puzzles… so… hard.. i guess.
I narrowed down the axioms to these, that I might actually make a game from.
No good deed goes unpunished.
You might win, or do something good, you still die at the end… lol… or something in that genre.
Quitters never win; winners never quit
Easy one. If you quit, you’ll never win so play my game ’til the end.
In the country of the blind, the one-eyed man is king.
If I have something more than you. I win. I’m better than you. Might be money, anything else. No matter how small the difference is.
A burnt child dreads the fire
Basically, this is just a normal game. If you’re smart enough to not make the same mistake ( lose ) twice than the axiom applies… xD else, you don’t anticipate fearfully the fire… xD
